I always enjoyed drinking wine at home with my father but it wasn't until my early 20's that my curiosity got the better of me and I decided to join the wine industry. I earned my wine stripes with a leading national specialist wine retailer and have never looked back. My wine career took me around the world visiting regions in France, Italy, Spain, Germany, Austria, Australia and California. I learnt a lot, laughed a lot and met some incredibly passionate people making amazing wines. After a short time working in the world of brand marketing I returned to my life long passion and qualified as a certified wine educator. Now I love sharing the stories behind some of the wines I've tasted and encourage as many people as possible to explore the wonderful world of wine, whether for pleasure or as a career. When a guest leaves a tasting knowing a bit more about wine than when they arrived and with the confidence to try something new that's a job well done!
