Welcome to Norfolk Wine School

A very warm welcome to Norfolk Wine School. We are a local, independent wine education company. Our tastings, courses and food & wine workshops are relaxed and informal events and we have something for everybody, from beginners to budding connoisseurs. No previous wine tasting experience is required, we'll show you how.

Start your very own wine adventure and join us as we taste our way around the wonderful world of wine. You'll taste over 50 wines, learn how to choose the best wines in shops and restaurants and understand what wines you like and why.

Norfolk Wine School Venues


Norfolk Wine School is delighted to host its 8 Week World of Wine Course and themed Food & Wine evenings at OPEN, Bank Plain, Norwich, NR2 4SF. This beautiful, historic Grade II listed building is located in the centre of Norwich. All our events are held in comfortable private rooms with disabled access.

We also host tastings and food and wine workshops at the popular St Andrews Brewhouse, 41 St Andrews Street, Norwich, NR2 4TP. This busy micro brewery and smoke house serves its own beers alongside an impressive range of craft beers and ales. Tastings are held in The Tank Room, a comfortable private room on the 1st floor.

Norwich institution, The Last Wine Bar, St Georges Street, Norwich, NR3 1AG, is home to our Saturday Course. Housed in a former Victorian Shoe factory in one of the oldest parts of the city, The Last is packed with character & charm. It's renowned for its extensive & eclectic wine list that features 60 wines from around the world & is the perfect venue for our Saturday Course.

We are very proud to host our formal education and training courses, including WSET (Wine & Spirit Education Trust) and BPET (Beer Professional Education Training), at No 8 Thorpe Road, Norwich, NR1 1RY. No 8 offers state of the art training facilities and a convenient location opposite Norwich Rail station and a very special warm and friendly welcome.
