Chocolate and Wine Workshop
Calling all chocoholics. With Easter just around the corner, join us for our chocolate & wine Eggstravaganza!
Just like wine you can buy chocolate in a variety of different colours, flavours and textures, but did you know that when paired with wine it can create exciting, adult only, combinations?
Whether you want to pair wine with a dessert, other sweet treat or just enhance the experience of your chocolate bar on an evening in front of the TV, this is the tasting for you. We'll reveal what you need to think about when pairing chocolate with wine and how to create winning pairings that will have you craving for more.
We'll present at least 6 different wines, workshop-style, each paired with a different chocolate or chocolate based sweet treat. We'll encourage you to try different combinations to find the pairings that really tickle your tastebuds. We'll even reveal what wine to pair with a Cadbury's Creme Egg!
The tasting will include at least 3 of the following pairings:
- Rose Port with white chocolate
- Pedro Ximenez with chocolate & dried fruit
- Californian Zinfandel with a single origin premium dark chocolate
- Ruby Port with chocolate & berries
- Rutherglen Muscat with caramelised chocolate
- LBV Port with a 80% cacao dark chocolate
- Shiraz with chocolate brownie
- Pinot Noir with milk chocolate
Professional ISO tasting glasses, table water, water biscuits and all tasting materials including tasting sheets are provided.
Please be aware this tasting is likely to feature nuts so may not be suitable for those with nut allergies.
